What is included in the deluxe wedding package?
The Deluxe Wedding Package is $7,000+ and includes:
- House Grey Linens
- White Padded Folding Chairs & Banquet Chairs
- Use of Resort Grounds for Photography (Excluding Golf Course)
- Two-Night Stay in a Studio Suite for the Night Before & Night Of ($1k+ value)
- Getting-Ready Room for Wedding Day (Meeting Space)
- Ceremony Sound System with Two Microphones and A/V Technician
- Sound System & Bistro Lights on Camelback Overlook
- Welcome & Gift Tables
- Ceremony Rehearsal (timing determined 30 days prior)

What are your required food-and-beverage minimums?
Your food-and-beverage minimum will be the higher of these two numbers:
Number 1: Standard Minimum- Friday events: $25k++ minimum
- Saturday events: $40k++ minimum
- Sunday events: $20k++ minimum
- estimated guest count X $225 (our standard menu pricing)
What taxes and service charges are included?
All food and beverage has a 26% service charge and 8.8% tax (prevailing tax rate). The Deluxe Wedding Package is taxed at 2.25%.
What event spaces are used for weddings?
Mountain Shadows features three main event spaces typically used for weddings: The Mountain Shadows Lawn, Camelback Overlook (rooftop), and Paradise Ballroom and adjoining Paradise Terrace. For intimate celebrations under 30 guests, we also have our Mountain View Room.
Do your wedding venues feature mountain views?
All of our event spaces feature views of Camelback Mountain! Our Camelback Overlook rooftop venue features views in three directions including our beautiful resort grounds and mountains in multiple directions.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
The maximum capacity for dinners on our Camelback Overlook or Paradise Ballroom is 250 guests, while the Mountain Shadows Lawn capacity is 300.
Do you allow outside food and beverage?
No outside food or beverage is permitted. All food and beverage packages are purchased through the resort. Helmed by renowned Chef Charles Wiley, our banquet team serves restaurant-quality fare.
What is included in your food and beverage packages?
We offer four packages, starting at $225++ per guest. All packages included butler passed hors d’oeuvres, a first course option, up to four entrée selections (or three stations for the buffet-style menu), wedding cake, tableside wine service and a minimum three-hour bar package.
What options are available for room blocks?
Room blocks are offered for a minimum commitment of 10 rooms for two nights, based on availability. On-property weddings receive a special discount!
What activities can we add to make it a full wedding weekend?
We love to host welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, golf outings at The Short Course, private fitness classes, pool days (with cabana rentals or full buyouts) and post-wedding brunches. Let us help you plan something memorable.
Do you host more than one wedding per evening?
No, we only host one wedding event per evening. This allows us to prioritize you on your special day.
Is a wedding coordinator or planner required
Yes, we require a wedding coordinator or planner. They must be selected from our preferred list, providing at least a 30-day package. This helps ensure that everything goes off without a hitch.
Do you require specific vendors?
Beyond the required planner, we do not require other vendors be selected from our preferred list. All other vendors brought in must be licensed and insured.
Are pets allowed at our ceremony?
Yes, we are a dog-friendly resort and pets are permitted at the ceremony, or for photography!
